WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades give you boost in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item level upgrade by +3. A random substat is also added to each upgrade.
Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the Best item upgrade has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as valuable for the latter due to the need to roll an exact version.
Recycle Points
The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher Best item upgrade level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item upgrading that is used to upgrade will be consumed forever and Best item Upgrade can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.
The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear current, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.
