When an item upgrader mod is upgraded, its basic stats are increased in value. This value is the total of all of its leveled up advantages (attack, magic attack and defense). The level of an item is a widely used measurement of power and can be found on all item tooltips. It can also be used to limit how much PvP gear players are able to wear as PvP is restricted at a lower level.
